Here is the remix to “Power” you’ve been hearing about, easily one of the best remixes of the year. Kanye’s album is going to be epic, that is all.

If you aren’t familiar with the title of the song, “Hot Toddy” is a mixed drink that is served hot, and usually includes alcohol. Word is, this song isn’t the final version because songwriter Ester Dean’s vocals are only a reference for Ciara to sing on the final version with Usher and Jay-Z.

I heard early on that Jay-Z and Beyonce were going to perform at Coachella but I don’t think anyone expected them to perform this record together. Hit up the comments and let us know which one you are feeling better. Mr.Hudson on the hook or Beyonce? Sidenote: It looks like they were having a lot of fun on that third verse. Cute.
Jay-Z talks about his New World Order album. Sounds like more secret society stuff to me.
If you missed it, here is Jay-Z’s commercial. Hope your team one because mine sure did ;).
“Lady Gaga, Eminem, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake and Barbra Streisand are just a handful of the 100-plus stars scheduled to take part in a re-recording of “We Are the World” to benefit Haiti, producer RedOne told Rolling Stone yesterday at the Grammys. Other artists contributing to the new “We Are the World” — a remake of the 1985 USA for Africa charity single that was co-written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie — include Celine Dion, Fergie, Wyclef, Enrique Iglesias and more musicians who attended yesterday’s 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.
According to RedOne, recording of the “We Are the World” remake will take place today in a Los Angeles studio. In addition to the all-star vocal talent, RedOne promises instrumentation from the likes of Orianthi (the guitarist for Michael Jackson’s This Is It show) and other big-name musicians. The AP reports Bono, Jason Mraz and Akon are also slated to appear on the track.
100% of proceeds from the sale of the Hope For Haiti Now album and any of its individual live performance tracks will go to Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, Oxfam America, Partners In Health, Red Cross, UNICEF, United Nations World Food Programme, and Yéle Haiti Foundation. 100% of proceeds from the sale of the individual studio track, “Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour),” featuring Jay-Z, Bono, The Edge, and Rihanna, will benefit Partners In Health.
Continue to download and also view the performance. I think they all did a good job on this song.
